Who is Jack Knight?
Jack Knight is a genre-bending drummer, composer, entreprenuer, content creator and force carving out his path in the music industry. Currently based in Boston and studying Performance and Professional Music at Berklee College of Music, Jack is known for his explosive playing style, deep musicality, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Rooted in progressive metal, hardcore, and classic rock—but fluent in everything from jazz and gospel to pop and funk—Jack brings versatility and intensity to every stage and studio session. Whether he’s locking in on tour, recording precise drum takes, or arranging full-band backing tracks, Jack's commitment to groove, energy, and storytelling is undeniable.
He’s performed nationwide, including a 26-show U.S. tour with Abby K and Wildstreet, and has held down the rhythm section for weekly gigs, festivals, and session work since 2017. Beyond performing, Jack is also a skilled producer and technician—currently working as a Percussion Tech at Berklee and a Drum Tech at 247 Drums, with a sharp eye for gear, sound, and the details that make a performance run seamlessly.
With a dual focus in Music Business and The Bussiness of Live Music, and a minor in Production and Recording, Jack is equally at home behind the kit and behind the scenes. He’s also an educator, having taught and directed bands at School of Rock, and is building a platform through JackKnightDrumming.com and @JackKnightDrumming across social media.
